Every Bike Bus Rider must take the Bike Bus Pledge!

Human powered bikes only

We know e-bikes are popular, but in Pennsylvania, the minimum age to operate an electric bike is 16 years old. This applies regardless of the e-bike’s motor size or whether it’s pedal-assist or throttle-only.

Hand Signals

Second to comfort and confidence is predictability. The students will learn why they need to use hand signals and how visual cues are important for street safety.
